The additional concerts will take place in the Pink City, Jaipur, on November 3, and in the national capital, Delhi, on October 27. This comes as a delightful surprise for Delhi fans, who will now have two chances to catch their favourite star in action, with the previously scheduled show at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 26 already sold out.
Dosanjh’s popularity in India is at an all-time high, evident from the unprecedented ticket sales last month. Pre-sale tickets for shows across 10 cities vanished in a mere two minutes, while general tickets were snapped up in just 30 seconds!
Janamjai Sehgal, Business Head – Live Division of Saregama India, shared his excitement about the tour’s success. “The response has been massive. For every single ticket, there were four people waiting in line. It can’t get better than this,” he said in an interview with NDTV.
The Dil-Luminati India Tour will kick off on October 26, covering cities like Chandigarh, Guwahati, Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad. Interestingly, this will mark Diljit’s first-ever performance in cities like Lucknow, Indore, Guwahati, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata.
For those eager to secure their spot at the newly added shows, ticket sales will commence on Wednesday at 2 PM. Given the earlier frenzy, fans are advised to be quick on their toes!
Before gracing Indian stages, Diljit has been mesmerizing audiences across Europe from September 9 to October 2.
